Executive Order
On Thursday, March 20, President Trump signed the executive order “Improving Education Outcomes by Empowering Parents, States, and Communities,” initiating steps toward the potential closure of the U.S. Department of Education. At this time, there are no changes to federal student aid programs, including the Federal Pell Grant and Direct Student Loans. These programs remain available, and we will continue to monitor any potential updates at the federal level.
While these changes could impact financial aid processes, many details are still being finalized. If any modifications occur, Scholarships & Financial Aid will inform students and families promptly.
